Opportunities for Children in Year 7 and 8
Leadership Programme
Our leadership programme is designed to challenge the childrens physical and mental capabilities. They take part in education outside the classroom activities, career sessions and are required to take up leadership opportunities in school.
Manual Training
All children are required to take part in manual which is delivered at Mokoia Intermediate School in Rotorua. This includes the following; Food Technology, Textiles, IT, Music and Hardwood Technology.
Sports
We endeavor to enter our children in inter-school sports competitions that take place throughout the year. If we don’t have enough children to make a team we combine with our neighbouring school so that our children can be involved.
Media Team
A team is selected at the beginning of the year whom are required to gather information for our year book. Eg; take photos and record events
